Helo.. i have now tested the Vista Beta 2 RC1 with all kinds of hardware and settings.
1 of.. it looks awsome.Although a few serious bugs have been my problem.
First my system:
1 Western Digital 150GB Raptor 10000RPM SATA 1 SEAGATE 150GB SATA 1 BFG Gforce 7950Gx2 1GB Graphic 1 Asus P5W DH Deluxe Motherboard 2 1GB Corsair PC6400 DDR2 Memory Modules (800Mhz) 1 3.4GHZ Intel Pentium Dual Core
As you can see this is quite a new computer and in fact never been used for anything untill now.
Lets start. Installation of Vista went not so well, i downloaded the x86 version and burned the ISO to an DVD and checked it with MD5.Anyway as soon as the installation started It stoped as soon as Disk.sys was about to start loading. and there it was and nothing hapend.. I tried everything from different BIOS settings to installing drivers for my SATA drivers. or nforce, or RAID etc etc.
I then installed XP to see if i could install from there instead and it went better untill it wanted to reboot. STOPED on Disk.sys.
I search your forums and found alot of ppl having the same problems and some solved it by using different SATA drivers and running the installation directly from harddrive etc etc.. But nothing helped.
After 2 days i had removed everything from my computer motherboard and it was time to test with another graphic card. (remember the XP installation went as smooth as usual with my BFG Card..)
Anyway.. i removed the PCI-Express graphic card and inserted an old PCI graphiccard 128mb/nvidia(noname) and wops.. the installation started. and ´went thur as nothing wrong. :) Yehoo i got Vista working.. Although with an really old graphic card. But i though for my self as soon as Vista is installed i just plug in the BFG-PCI-Express card..
Installation Complete. Restarting. Shutdown-> Instert the new PCI-E (BFG)card.. !"BANG"! " Bluescreen of Death." while loading Vista.-
i have traced the logs and i see that it hangs/crashes while trying to load the "crcdisk.sys"
and i get this bluescreen error.
0x0000009C (0x00000000, 0x849859F8, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
hope this can help you..
it seems that whenever i have the PCI Express graphic card from BFGtech.com it dosnt work.. but as soon as i pull it from the motherboard and run with a old PCI graphic card it works.
Please contact me if you have any tips on how to get the VISTA working with my new graphic card.
Thanx.

Installation error end Bluescreen of death, Couse Found.!!
I had a nightmare of a time getting Vista to run, on my first 'run around' I could get it to install via XP, but not from boot. At that time I was using a GForce 7800GT, and Aero just crashed left, right & center!
Out of curiosity I put in an ATI X300 card and bingo problems disappeared! That drew me to the conclusion that although XP will run fine with a nVidia chipset based card in the crossfire, Vista will not.
I am now running a Asus 1900 with no problems.
Sys specs: Intel Pentium D 950 Asus P5WD2-E Premium MB Asus EAX1900XT VC 2 Gb DDR2 RAM 80 Gb SATA
My next issue was getting it to load from boot, I was getting BSOD on both 64 and 32 bit versions.
If you do a search under vista newsgroups for the thread blue screen with 32 bit version, my trials are outlined there.
At the end of the day it was a bad ram stick, I had tried every configuration possible in the BIOS, and with this ram being only 2 months old, and never having had any inkling that it was bad, it was by pure chance I happened on this resolution.
Also check out the Asus forums for your motherboard.
